It was good that they were there. However, when I presented myself to Reception at the Minor Injuries Unit, in agony with acute urinary retention, I was told that I couldn’t be catheterised there and would have to go the the JR. Luckily, someone from the EMU intervened and I was catheterised and put out of my misery. I would humbly suggest that your staff on reception know not only what can’t be done there but what can be done in the EMU. I was spared an agonising journey to the JR and am grateful for that though it’s no thanks to the Minor Injuries Unit receptionist.

I feel I have progressed well during my stay here

This place is so good there is nothing that could be improved apron

Generally very good can be haphazard at times ie the timing of the dressings on my legs

Listening to the patient how things have worked better in the past ie the best arm to take blood

April was very efficient, friendly, and professional,and may I add fast, although I had only cut my hand , she had me sorted out in no time.

Although I didn’t have to wait long ( just luck of the draw i suppose) I have heard of people waiting hours, perhaps that could be addressed.
